For example, if one creates a stroke with a 2B pencil on a piece of paper applying a certain pressure, a line of a fixed density will remain. In the same way, traces of light remain on photographic paper. I often feel photograms as sceneries of when everything was the first time to see in my life, when I did not even know how to hold a pencil properly. It is purely a process of personal perception and also a learning in which judgments whether it were successfull do not yet take place. This too is a sort of trace. And I wish to observe this fully.
